How is RepRap an example of emergence?
Kristina e-mailed me to ask: I was doing some research about emergence and I was wondering if you could quickly re-explain to me HOW the reprap is an example of emergence in mass cutomisation? What I don't understand is, isn't the expected behaviour of the machine to reproduce itself? I don't understand how the process of the reproduction is emergent.. or am i missing the point completely?
