Assignment 3 - Report & Prototype

My focus for assignment 3 was on my tool as a ‘character’ creator, meaning that it should produce real characters, with their own set of behaviours, traits, and style. I feel that I discussed my tool UGACE, and its usability and uses of design systems pretty heavily in my assignment 2 report so I will just discuss some changes and enhancements.

Wk7 Lab Grammar Randomiser - WINGS

I made a pair of wings in context-free and added some randomness using the gammar randomiser. Its based on the spiral pattern we did in class.

Wanted to be able to change the rotations of each wing aswell, but realised context-free couldnt do calculations (which i needed because one wing is just a transformed version of the other with each having a unique 'rotate' value and randomness would of screwed up the mirror) so i left it as is.

Wk6 Lab MYSTERY checkered graphics generator

Firstly, nice! boardpushers.com (see boardpushers review) updated their site and design tool so its a lot more user friendly, ie less laggy, making it almost like realtime (still a little wait for the whole page to reload)
