Final walkthrough

Okay,
I have finally finished my Generative design systems website. My website, in line with assignments 1 and 2, explores the customizable nature of skateboards. Although the website is quite self explanatory in regards to a walk through, I would like to highlight a few key features that in my opinion make it stand out;

Firstly, I added information for each part of the skateboard. Now instead of blindly choosing parts that look cool or cost the most, a less experienced user can make an informe… Continue

Customisable Skateboard

Mass customisable skateboard tool version2

As I don’t want to have to rehash too much of my previous presentation, I will be brief in redescribing my idea. I want to create a website which allows a customer to create a skateboard completely from scratch. Review

I decided to review Holden's 'build your HSV (Holden Sports Vehicle)' portion of their website. To put it simply, it sucked. There is really very little the user can do to customise their new car. It seems as though Holden has blindly jumped onto the mass customisation bandwagon. They have sadly brought out a good looking, but poorly thought out mass-customisation system. Holden's major downfall is their lack of customisable options. Looking at t… Continue
