LAB QUESTIONS
1. Why do you find it interesting? (irrespective of my project)
I find it interesting that a system can grow from a collective consciousness - That it evolves from the continued use of a social group.
I would be interested to read material on the "system's consciousness" - i will look into what is written on this application of AI - like the human immune system or crowd simulation(i might be straying off the point here). I would like to know if there is a way to apply… Continue

Here we go... research emergent design....
Emergence: "The whole is more than the sum of its parts." Where there is a level of behaviour that is unexpected or unintended.
Types:
1. Thermodynamic: The movement apears to be chaotic, but can in fact be described with simple rules.
2. Computational: Simple rules put together to describe complex behaviour.
3. Eptistemological: emergence of new meaning. Emergence takes place within the observer themsleves

week... something... i lost count

- Research emergent design to find a suitable process that you think would be appropriate for mass cutomisation --> computational/ natural/ design

- define a SET OF ELEMENTS e.g. form/ behaviours together, flocking, game of life
- eploit these to produce something that is unique everytime - but still within a STYLE --> DEFINE a STYLE
- box of tools, maintaining my own style... how to apply this to experience
