working on assignment 3
this is a random post.
i was just working on assignment 3. you know how i was thinking that having already made a 3D gundam model in Maya last year would make things easier for me? Don't get me wrong, it certainly does. I think this task might have been quite impossible without it...
BUT i was making some renders - by that i mean LOTS - for my screenshots, and it actually really made me appreciate how much easier it would be to have a generative system do it for you! i have to sit here manually thinking up combinations and variations of colour schemes, nose shapes, tribal markings.... and try to throw in some randomness as well... it's really incredibly hard having to do it yourself! sometimes it make me think that i'm not all that creative at all... how many shades of red and white can i use?
with a generative system... insert some parameters for hue, opacity, etc... hit the button and there you go! almost any possible combination would pop up! and you just need to choose one!
i see how useful this subject is ;) now... back to it -____-"
